About this module
People are often scared to make a report of wrongdoing due to fear of retaliation or not being confident that their report will go to someone who can act on it. To prevent these issues from being a factor in reporting, the NSW government has enacted the Public Interest Disclosures Act 1994 (NSW) (the Act).
This course has been designed to provide employees of public authorities with an overview of the Act. Specifically, it will look at when and how reports of wrongdoing can be made and to whom. It will also look at the protections available to reporters who make true and honest reports.
